Settings – Carriers tab

The Carriers tab in Settings gives you a quick overview of all available carriers and direct access to carrier management, without leaving the Settings area.

How to access the Carriers tab

  1. Click Settings in the left-hand navigation

  2. Click the Carriers tab

You’ll see:

  • All available carriers

  • Connection status for each carrier

  • Quick access to carrier setup and management


What this page is

The Carriers tab in Settings uses the same carrier management system as the main Carriers page.

Think of it as a shortcut — perfect when you’re already in Settings and just need to:

  • Check carrier status

  • Enable or disable a carrier

  • Update carrier settings

  • Connect a BYO carrier


What you’ll see

Carrier types shown

  • Network carriers

    • Aramex

    • Couriers Please

    • Australia Post

  • BYO (Bring Your Own) carriers

    • StarTrack

    • TNT

    • DHL

    • Australia Post eParcel

Each carrier shows:

  • Carrier name and service

  • Connection status

  • An action button


Connected carriers list

What it is
A full list of all carriers available to your account.

What it shows

  • Carrier name and service type

  • Connection status (Connected / Not connected / Disabled)

  • Action buttons for setup or management

How to use

  • Quickly confirm which carriers are active

  • Identify carriers that still need setup

  • Open carrier settings with one click


Manage button (network carriers)

What it does
Opens the carrier management modal for network carriers that are already connected.

How to use

  1. Click Manage next to a network carrier

  2. The carrier settings modal opens

  3. Adjust settings as needed

  4. Save changes

Settings you can configure

  • Enable or disable the carrier

  • Handling fees

  • Signature on delivery defaults

  • Shipping insurance defaults

  • Enabled service rates

Network carriers don’t require credential setup — Pack to the Future manages the connection.


Carrier setup button (BYO carriers)

What it does
Lets you connect and configure your own carrier accounts.

How to use

  1. Click Carrier setup next to a BYO carrier

  2. Enter your carrier account credentials

  3. Test the connection

  4. Configure carrier settings

  5. Save to connect

Settings available

  • Carrier credentials

  • Active / inactive status

  • Handling fees

  • Signature on delivery

  • Shipping insurance

  • Enabled service rates

Once saved, the carrier will appear as Connected and be available for booking.


When to use this tab

Use the Carriers tab in Settings when you:

  • Want to quickly check carrier connection status

  • Need to enable or disable a carrier

  • Want to tweak carrier defaults while working in Settings

  • Need fast access without navigating away

Frequently asked questions

Is this different from the main Carriers page?
No. It’s the same interface — just embedded in Settings for convenience.

Can I connect carriers from here?
Yes. Use Carrier setup on any BYO carrier to connect your account.

How do I manage network carriers?
Click Manage on a network carrier to configure fees, defaults, and services.

What’s the difference between “Manage” and “Carrier setup”?

  • Manage: Network carriers (already connected)

  • Carrier setup: BYO carriers (require your credentials)
